Tailight question. Are 2000 and 2001 same?

a quick google images has the 01 with silver trim, 00 does not.

2001 is the first year of the "jewel style" tail lights. They can be swapped, but it requires body work inside the trunk and rewiring.

Thanks!!!!! I have a 2001 and found some 2000 taillights. So its a no go!
