Default Tenax Fastener replacement - Resolved

One of the Tenax fasteners (female part) for my tonneau cover is munged (technical term for busted).

My online searches suggest I need the English version, not the German type.

I'm looking for some help here as to specific size, recommended sources for the parts, and installation instructions such as a possible requirement for a special tool.

Yes, I plan replace both sides so I won't repeat this in the near future.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Scott

Thanks WhiteXKR. Does anybody know if a special tool is required for removal and installation?

You probably can make a tool to engage the opposing holes using some stiff wire...or a cheap set of snap ring pliers (Snap Ring Pliers - Harbor Freight Tools) would likely work....

or maybe a friendly local dealer would do it for you as a favor.

Default Finally Got a Round Tuit

Finally purchased the Tenax fastener. Turns out they are very easy to install as they simply screw on. You do need a special tool though. I made one from a cable staple.
