Default Terraclean XKR

I booked my 2002 4.0 litre XKR into my nearest Terraclean centre today(20 miles from home), but was told by the mechanic that it cannot be done as the supercharger blocks access to the fuel intake.
Could someone verify that this is so? If it can be done, where do they connect the inlet from the machine & block the fuel return to the tank?
Thanks for any clarification.

What's wrong with your car that it 'needs' to be cleaned?

The car is running O.K., (fingers crossed), but I thought as it is approachin 100,000 miles, there is bound to be some carbon build up, and I may even slightly improve the MPG.

That is nonsense. My 4.2 was done no problem at Terraclean HQ in Newcastle last October and, while the fuel intake is different on the 4.0, Edd China did it on the XK8 episode of Wheeler Dealers:

I wouldn't presume that there's any carbon build up that's resulting in a power or mileage decrease. Modern engines with modern fuels and oils run exceptionally cleanly, usually for the life of the vehicle.

100K miles is still a baby.

From what I have read, Terraclean is little better then SeaFoam and SeaFoam is only $7US.

The XK8 in "Wheeler Dealers" had no supercherger, & connected straight into the fuel rail. The later 2003 XKR has a (UK) connection on the left bank that is accessable with
a " C" shaped plastic tool that can unclip the fuel line. My fuel lines appear to be coming in very close to the bulkhead underneath thethrottle body.

My son is a Terraclean dealer (warpspeed performance) so I asked him about the connection. He said he did an XKR before xmass. The connection is tight but not realy a problem. The owner was well pleased with the result....he said it was like driving a new car!
