Thanks Rev. Sam. The display on the A/C-heater control, on my '98 XK8 conv., started to go black. I found a used controler on Ebay for $55 and watched your YouTube video for 5min. 50 sec. I was able to replace the piece myself. Had a little trouble removing the plastic surround from the "J" gate. I wasn't quite sure what I had to do with the plastic cards to unlock the piece. After one corner got loose I was able to see how it was held in and the other 3 got unlocked with no trouble. Thanks to Sam and the rest of the Forum members I have saved Thousands of $ over the past 8 years. The early years for the XK8 had a number of "bugs". With the forums help fixing them has not put me in the poor house or looney bin. Again thanks, Jack
