Default Throttle body programming

2002 xk8 or XKR throttle body if you replace it, does it have to be reprogrammed in any way ? Even though the battery has been disconnected from the start.

On my 1999 car there was no need to program although it does take a little while for the car to re- learn the idle rpm.
