Default Throttle Cable Adjustment

I can't, for the life of me, find how to adjust the position of the throttle cable on my '00 XK8. I found how to do it on the '03 (Sam's Vid) and I read the FAQ about it but it doesn't detail the procedure for my mdy. The links to the thread at roadfly seem to be borked as I get an error message from them.

Loads of search results
eg

but check first with OBD live data (if you can) that you need to do anything.
Also look in HOW-TOs under battery disconnect for training the throttle and kickdown.

That's the same thread I checked earlier. I didn't see the procedure for the '00 car. I'm not sure if Gabriel's quote applies to me. I pull the plastic but the only thing in there is the brake fluid. The throttle on my car is in plain sight but I don't see a way to adjust it. I already checked the OBD live data, I've got a 67% right now.

Have you tried the retrain procedure ?
The adjustment procedure described has been used with success by other 2000 MY owners so shouldn't do any harm if a retrain does nothing.

There is a plastic square around the throttle cable that is Zip-tied diagonally to a bracket on the throttle body. Break off the Zip-tie, lift the square/cable out of the bracket and spin it to tighten or loosen the throttle cable. Click it back in place and check the throttle % on the scanner when the pedal is down to the floor. repeat and adjust until 100% is just reached. Put a new zip tie in place and you are good to go.
