Couldn't wait 'til after the Holidays so this afternoon I squeezed these old bones back under the dash of my '98 XK8. That was probably the last time I'll get under there without taking the seat out. I've done this so often I can do most of the job by feel from outside the car. The Allen bolt that's behind the wiring I just can't do without seeing it. I installed a used tilt motor I bought on Ebay. Of course it worked perfectly as did ever other time I worked on the original. All I can do now is wait and see. I'm not sure what year XJ it came from. The green gear looked to have slightly deeper threads then the original. Hope I don't have to write about this topic again. Jack
