Took a standard knife and got it red hot and bent at 90 deg . Then cut off leaving about 8mm sticking up.
To remove knee pad . Loosten the two inner screws at the bottom about 3 turns with T27 then feed tool into gap at top of pad on RHS and when fully engaged pull hard outward. Once its been off a few times it will jump off easy.
