Lads, the top is closing at a very slow speed. I thought the fluid was low, but the deposit is full. The famous Max from prime auto tips Miami’s told me that it could be the pump but not sure.
Rebuilt my pump plus work 700.
Anything that I can do before dropping 700? Thanks!

 

First check that the petcock is closed and the fluid level is at the top embossed line on the tank. If that is ok then take a little WD40 and lubricate the exposed shafts of both of you roof lift rams. They are located in the rear between the headliner and the roof on both sides, just spray it on your hand and rub it on the ram shaft then operate the roof.

Spray it on a rag then put it on the ram.

How slow is too slow?

 

Only when closing, it's too slow at the first 30% of the closing process, then is fast.
