Default Topsonline

They are starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth, I ordered new covers at the end of February, ebay showed delivery date between 8th and 15th. I called them the same day I ordered and talked to Vic, he said I should get them on or around the 15th and I go them the 20th. BUT, they were the wrong color.

So I called Vic and he stated mine and another guy in Yukon, Ok orders got switched, so first thing Friday I send off the wrong ones to Yukon, but he did not return the favor, he got his Monday and I am sitting here waiting.
I called Vic yesterday and he said he would call the guy and get right back to me, have not heard anything.
So Steve is happy in OK and I am playing the waiting game, getting madder or madder.

Annoying, but to be fair on Vic, it's not his fault the other guy hasn't pulled his finger out and got the covers off to you. I was very pleased with both the service and the product when I used Topsonline.

I'm using topsonline.com for my leather seats and now the top liner also. Vic called me several times on a couple of minor questions to make sure he got it right. I think the issue is with the other guy who's got your seats. I have to wonder why you didn't just return your seats to Vic instead of dealing with the other customer.

If he had not of sent the covers to the wrong people, I would not have started this thread!!

BTW: I had to call him, but it appears the cover will be picked up today and I should get them next week.

Bingo!

If Topsonline made the arrangement for two customers to exchange incorrectly shipped items that's just poor customer service.

What happens if you receive the covers and they are damaged? Who is responsible at this point Topsonline, the other customer?

I am sorry, Topsonline is solely responsible. You ordered a product through them, they should of sent you the correct item immediately once the mistake was made. You were nice enough to send out the other top to there customer not yours at your cost. That is very bad customer service. Just my 2 cents

A reputable company would have send a "Call Ticket" to each customer (can be sent by email), meaning that they would be assigning the service and paying for the return of the item back to them and then shipped out the correct item when the proper, undamaged item got back to them.

No one should have to pay for shipping to return a product that they did not order in the first place. You should also not have to pay for shipping the correct item to yourself, when you have already paid and got the wrong item.

I own a business and I do some shipping in my business. If I make a mistake, it is MY mistake, and if I have to lose money on the deal, it would only be my own fault, not the customer's. In twelve years, we have shipped a product to the wrong place once, and it was another store that we deal with in the same town. Luckily, they were related and they called the proper recipient and she went over and got it.

Sorry for the confusion, yes Topsonline did pay for the shipping between me and the guy in OK.

I got my covers yesterday and I got Fooled, this set was a deep tan color, not Oatmeal. So I fired off another email to Vic and find out what he is going to do.

Default Oatmeal leather seat covers from eBay

I got them from Jcustomtops06 on eBay for $560. The upholsterer that installed them today thought that they were great and they look great.

Jeff,

My seats are badly in need of a recover. Who here in Tucson was your upholsterer? That's assuming you'd recommend them of course. I've been considering Jamis on Speedway.

Jeff, honestly, I think your seats look a little loose...especially in the vertical sections on the back, upper side bolster and the lower cushion corners. Did he replace or add any foam? or heat the leather to tighten it?

Afraid I have to agree. That leather should be as taught as a pair of small yoga pants on a large girl!

I would ask if the foam needed replaced or if the covers were made a bit to big.
