Tow hook, do you still have yours?
h20boy. I am just North of Boyd, East of FM730 (between Boyd and Decatur). I will look through my boxes of stuff I have from my days at the dealer and see if I can find one of each. Contact me through my email address for more info and my exact location. If you take HWY 114 to get to Bridgeport, I'm 3 miles from Boyd, 10 Miles south of Decatur but I have a Decatur address????? and I live in the Rhome voting area. Rural roads and areas are confusing.

Part number for the towing eye for...
S-Type
X-Type
XK from VIN A30645
XJ from VIN G00442
XR88500 (coarse left hand thread)
The part number may be superceded as previously stated but I have only a JEPC from 2005
I found a few but I probably have a box of 20 or more in my boxes of parts.
I also found a few older 20X2.5 mm cast and welded ones

I'll help you 'distribute' the towing eyes Bob, we'll get together eventually.
Photo thieving is pretty popular, they were just too lazy to do their own I suppose. At least it wasn't 'art', photographers are very sensitive about their images being stolen.

h20boy, What do you mean NOT ART???? The throttle is an engineering work of art (just ask the design engineer) and my photographic skills must have impressed the web designer at jagbits!!!! I should have used a lesser example but I thought a clean one might sell faster than a dirty one. I did find the exact one with the same serial number and I guess I'll keep it because it is now famous (It's listed as NEW on the internet).

Bob, sure wish I had that tow hook today, my xk8 is stuck in Runaway Bay and will not be going anywhere soon w/o snow retreat or a tow. I'm parked in someone's driveway at the moment.
It's about 3:00PM here in Wise County and I just got off my tractor after plowing my driveway all the way to the street. It's at least 8 inches of wet snow and it is STILL snowing. I guess I'll plow it again in the morning so I can get in and out if I need to. The tow eye might get you into trouble if you pull the car through deep snow and tear the plastic undertrays. The last time I drove my XJ8 up my neighbors driveway in deep snow (last month) I pulled some screws loose from my undertray. I will be driving my Chevy pick-up if I need to go out!!!!!
Your car is about 15 miles from here and I don't think you will be moving it soon!!!!

What about the one(s) for the front??? I think that is what is being asked. Older X100s only had holes in the front and a removable threaded tow eye (20 X 2.5mm RH thread) Later cars have the holes front and rear with 16 X 3.0mm LH thread tow eyes.
