guys I have a 01 XK8 and im getting a gear box code 1747 and 1000. can anyone tell me what I can do to fix the problem. car runs, but it seems to be in one gear. another question. I drove it home like that could driving it in one gear create other problems. thanks

 

JTIS says pressure regulator 3 circuit or the regulator itself is faulty. I don't have a clue what it does, but it must be in the valve bodies. I think any good transmission shop should be able to handle this , given the widespread use of the 5HP24.

It is probably safe to drive.
