Transmission fluid for 2004 XK8
Will global multi vehicle full synthetic transmission fluid work in 2004 ski 4.2 liter engine.

Does its packaging state that it meets the required Shell M1375.4 specs?
A proven ATF alternative for the ZF 6HP26 transmission is Mercon SP, reasonably-priced and available at any Ford dealership parts department. Quite a few of us have been running this ATF for 4 to 5 years now with no issues....

Q: if it is shell1375.4 rated does it automatically mean it is a full synthetic ?
Q: i was recently told that the mercon sp has now been superceded...is the new one still good for the zf6hp26 ?
