Default Trouble filling XK8 with gas

I've got 1/4 of a tank of gas left in my 2001 XK8 and now having trouble filling the tank. Having done some online research, I've come to the conclusion that the problem is with the CCV. Not a technical guy but want to know what I'm getting into with my auto shop. So with this in mind, can someone tell me basics of cannister close valve, where it's LOCATED. Does the repair/replacement involve removing the gas tank? What is the relation to the carbon canister assembly (if any, and what this thing does) and any relation to the EVAP valve (and what that thing does.) I know these are a lot of questions so really, I'd just be happy to get a detailed description of the location of the CCV. Thanks!

Sorry no one has gotten back to you but I have found that there is much higher traffic on the car specific forums such as the XK8/R one.

The fuel fill problem has been around for some time and the subject of a recall on your vehicle while under warranty. The attached file contains the actual recall document. Also, there was a TSB on the specific issue you describe. Try a search on ' fuel tank filling' for several discussions.

Also, found that you cannot add another link to a file in an edit. Here is the TSB on the specific fill problem.
