Hi.....removing the seats from my 1999 XK8 convertible so that I can get them re-upholstered. No trouble removing the driver's seat. However, on the passenger side, I am unable to remove the plastic trim piece that covers the seat rail near the door. Looking at the driver's side, it appears you need to lift up on the front to disengage a male/female connection and then slide the trim piece back to disengage the rear. It appears that the seat is just too close to the trim piece to lift it. Does the passenger side seat have the height adjustment? Mine does not appear to....the switch will not move vertically (only can move seat up or back and adjust back). Any suggestions for getting this trim piece out without breaking it?

Have not had the need to remove those two trim pieces in quite a while but I remember having to lift up slightly on them and then pulling them forward towards the front of the car....

I finally got it. I kept hearing about double sided tape, but there was none on the driver's side so I assumed there was none on the passenger side. Wrong! Had to lift up with a screw driver and I finally got it off.
Thanks for the advice!
