Hopefully everyone can see my pics.
I know that ideally every wire would be in it's proper place, but I'm working with what I've got(Broken & or Disconnected)

What might the Brown & White plug go to if anything?
The Parking Aid module has room for 3 plugs I can only find 2 that match is the third slot supposed to be empty
Will the car crank, start & or run with these 2(GrWh. GrBr) wires pulled out of the trunk fuse box plugs?
Does (I think so) the Single Brown wire connect to the SLM & same ? will the car crank, start & or run if it's broken/disconnected
Lastly where is the Adaptive Damping Control Module? Should it be visible somewhere in the trunk? And usual question if it's missing will the car go beyond just lighting up?

For now I think that if you click on me: 03xk8 & go to public profile it'll show the album. Between the car & trying to figure out how to post stuff I'm pretty freakin frustrated!

The plug that is behind the battery you can forget about. That was for the in transit power supply when the car was new and removed by the dealer.

As for the rest, I will have look through the circuit diagrams and possibly compare with mine to help any further.

I was poking around the forum & saw pictures showing 2 wire/plugs used in transit which I had matched on mine, but this third was for that use also?

From the wiring diagrams:

1. Closest I can match for that plug is the road pricing module which you obviously don't have and neither do I.

2. The parking aid module should only have the 2 plugs.
BT4 is a 16 way white plug
BT5 is a 6 way black plug.

3. I'm still working on.

4. There is no brown wire going to the security locking module. There is a brown and white wire and that is the live feed from F10 10A in the trunk fuse box.

5. The adaptive damping control module is in the trunk on the centre line at the rear of the car, probably in the spare wheel well.

Hope this helps you out a little.

Yes thank you for the info. The trunk was all torn apart when I got the car & even with your directions I can't locate the adaptive damping control module. All I can do is hope it's connected properly somewhere out of sight.

You probably don't have the Adpative damping control mod. Only car with that feature will have it and if you have the base XK8, you don't. Easy to find out, look at the top of the front shocks under the hood. If they have a wire on them them you have ADC if not you don't.

Just looked, top of front shocks are clear, hence no ADC.
Thank you
