Default Tyre well rust

Next job, I took a wire brush to the tyre well and was surprised to see that it was completely rusted through, another design fault with two plates together without any seal.

Crikey, you're finding some nasty little grot spots, but at least you are finding them in time to do something about it before winter. How are the tops of your rear wheel arches? Both of mine have just started to bubble on the trailing edge towards the top.

Yes, I have had to pathch up both rear arches.

Back to the wheel well, zinc primed and painted, then undersealed the area beneath, eventually I will cover the entire underside with this.
