Ultra Gauge
I cannot say positively on a 2004 XKR, but on a 2001 XKR the MAP sensor (Manifiold Absolute Pressure sensor) is calibrated to read vacuum and not positive pressure accurately. Therefore accurate boost information is not avaialble over OBDII, independent of which brand reader is used. To read boost, an aftermarket sensor and gauge is needed.
Smilar to the 4.0, the 4.2 does not have a boost gauge. The MAP sensor is on the inlet side of the supercharger and there are no sensors at all on the outlet side other than a temp sensor located at the front of the right hand intake manifold.
Afraid the only way to get a boost measurement is to add an aftermarket gauge.
