Default upper shock mount thickness

Would someone that has a new front upper shock mount (not installed) please measure the thickness and post the results?
I pulled my front end apart (control arm bushes-ball joint- etc) but the front mounts really look okay to me. I haven't purchased the upper mounts and would prefer to wait until later this year when I under take the lower CA bushes + ball joints.
If they aren't too compressed I'll run with them until the next time.
Thank you
jn

I had just installed mine and eyeballed they appeared to be about an inch of the padding.
The junk ones that were in the car appeared to be like an eighth of an inch or maybe even less.

The thickness of a new Welsh front upper shock mount bushing is 5/8".

I was curious so I measured one of the Welsh mounts that had the inner bushing fail at 40K miles.

Outer bushing seems to have held up really well if new was 5/8" thick.

Default Pic of previous crumbly mount off the car

Here’s a pic of the crumbly mount I took off my car. Wasn’t compressed but bad condition. Seems 5/8” is about right.

thank you everyone!

I can see that mine are compressed and have a shortened life span but I think I'm good until I do the major rebuild this summer.

Mine were practically nonexistent compared to the ones you guys are taking pictures of.

Mine had the plates touching each other under the weight of the car.

I also had to go like 3mph over the speed dips out here in cali or it would try to rip the oil pan off the car.
