Hey Dennis, as you're probably aware Sam added a great how to vid, available in the "How to" section showing the job in detail.

If you have the tools and time DIY...........If time is more precious to you than the £75 get Halfords to do it.

Either way let us kow how you get on

One bonus of the aggro - it comes with built-in peace of mind you know the job is done right.

If you get Halfords to do it make sure they don't lose any alignment washers.

Dennis,

The fulcrum pin is the the part of this job that gives most people trouble. If the bushes are in a very bad way, it can take some shifting.

Now you're getting into the specialist equipment, you may need 'Dragon's Breath' (gas blowlamp) to supplement the Birmingham Screwdriver.

Say Dennis, to assist in removing the fulcrum bolt and the ball joint apply some penetrating oil or WD-40 the night before. Apply to both sides of the fulcrum bolt at the threads, nuts and the center exposed section where it passes through the aluminum frame. Apply just a small amount to the ball joint at the very base of the boot where the stem passes into the seat and to the underside/retaining nut. This will make removal much easier. Take it slow and precise and you should do well.

Good luck.
