Default US sticker on a UK car?

Can anyone explain why a US sticker would be on a UK car unless its a US import?

Cheers

The body was intended to be LHD but was built RHD or sticker placed in error . Remember that jaguar workers never took there annual 2 week leave they always sent a relative to fill there space on the track even if he had never been in the plant before . I know I live in Coventry.

That's why I picked a February build date for my XKR. Mid way between Christmas and Easter holidays and nowhere near summer.

Cars are often stored for months in fields in the UK ..The replacement of Antimony with calcium in batteries meant the cars could sit longer without the need to charge hundreds of batteries.
Substitution of labour was also for sicknes or cheap off peak holidays ... just send in your milkman brother .( thats someone who delivers milk door to door in the early morning. )
Strikes of course being called as a way of regulating production.

These practices will not now be current.
