It all started about 3 months ago. Almost sorted now but can't program remotes yet.

Battery draining over 72 hours of no use, Windows stopped working when I opened the door and valet mode stuck on!!!

Started playing about to diagnose. Car would not enter programming mode for the remotes.

Eventually got the correct connections under the bonnet to remote charg the battery, shame both connections have a big "-" on them indicating negative. Just ignored that.

Couldn't get out of valet mode , couldn't unlock the boot with my key......wd40, 3:1 oil and a key twisted with a pair of pliers eventually got the key turning. Woohoo, boot opened again. After 2 month of Scottish winter months there was a 3 inch deep swimming pool in the boot. Drain holes now cleared.

First of I replaced the door handle actuator micro switches......no change.

Battery still draining.

Then removed x100 security module, opened it and found it was badly corroded and a couple of circuit board tracks burnt out.

Replaced with a similar second hand part, still nothing. Then check the fuse for the x100, blown. Changed that and the central locking worked and valet mode no longer on. Yeahaa, progress.

Reset window travel setting, roof now working.

Car now enters remote programming mode

But remotes not syncing.

Now I have 2 problems

1 remotes still won't sync
2 tail light fuses popping so I need to diagnose that.


Any advice on these problems?
