Default valley hose help!!!!!

I have an 09 xf with the 4.2 supercharger.

I have created a similar post in the xf forum but no responses. This forum has a few post regarding the valley hose. I'm hoping someone here can assist.

I'm in Philadelphia, but Live in Louisiana and I need to return home soon.
I feel stuck.

My valley hose, that attaches to the lower thermostat outlet and runs through the intake manifold, end connection has a pin hole leak & and is bulging.

I really need to get home. I want (hoping I can) to remove the heater system from the coolant circuit. I will not have heat, but I'll be able to get home to my family.

I believe the valley hose connected to the lower t-stat housing is the the return. My plan is to remove it and install a rubber cap and clamp on the the t-stat.

Does anyone have a pic or can describe the location of the heater system's supply?

any and all assistance is greatly appreciated

The STR is similar. I'm guessing JTIS (free download) has a similar pic for your car as for mine, showing the coolant system (the pic's been posted somewhere).

Sorry I don't know the answer for your actual car.

I'd call a local foreign car repair place. I see you are in philly. Flemington Foriegn cars (really good people about 20 minutes from you) are at 908 806 2277. If you ask nicely, i bet youd get a good answer. John
