There's very little wear on my mats but the embossed logo doesn't look as clearly defined as it used to be:



The white logo and Jaguar script used to stand out from the black carpet but is starting to get lost:



Anyone else with a Final Series got the same issue?

man you're ****...isn't there anything broken or making an annoying rattle in your car? Surely there's something more pressing than the lettering on your mats not being as 'pronounced' as they used to be. lol

Appalling logo encroachment there, Graham. Don't Dremel do a defluffer attachment?

 

I'm with you on this one Graham!! Mine are just the same and always have been since I got the car at 3 years old. It's almost as though the upper layer is slightly larger than the backing layer.

Other Victory/S Edition owners might agree, if the others all had posh carpets like these (genuine ivory leather trim round the edges!! - very fiddley to apply the leather treatment!!) they'd all worry about them like we do!!

 

Xenophobe found the perfect tool for the job. It's even called the XJ-350 model so it's got to work on the XK8:
