I must suck at searching cause I can't find a thread about this and I'm sure there's thousands.

An product recommendations to coat rims with in order to make cleaning easier? Something like Teflon or a specialty wax?

Ceramic coat them with a DIY Kit. I like Avalon King’s Armor Shield IX. I have had excellent results with it.

 

Second this approach, I use Gtechniq G5 Wheel Armour.

Lasts more than a year, takes about twice the time of a cleaning to put on (including the cleaning), and makes every other cleaning very quick.

I use soap and water now. If you're in a hurry, they can be cleaned pretty well and quickly with water and a rag.
