I've been looking for a decently priced 2003 XKR. This listing interests me, athough I dislike black/black/black cars. But, look at the seller's description AND the AutoCheck history report...carefully. What do you think has been with this car from Day One, and what now?

Thanks.

No way, unless you need a parts car and it's at the $1000 price it is now.

Something doesn't seem right, plus he must have a high reserve. If not, he would have sold it to the guy who meant to bid $9700.

A 2003 XKR under $10k is not a bad price at all, but not with a flood damaged salvage title. With that title, you'd better plan on keeping it.

Still early in the auction. Put it on your watch list for fun. Just remember the old adage, "cheap Jags never are."

I saw this when he first listed it, it actually sounds like an excellent car with the exception of the title. If you can independently verify his story and am willing to deal with the same issue when you try to sell it I'd say it's a good deal anywhere under 12K. With a clear title it's a 15 to 18K car all day long.

What do you think would cause Jaguar to label a new '03 XKR as a "lemon" and then take it back??? The seller, even though he bought the car years ago, didn't admit to knowing why.
