All verymuch depending on temperature and condition of the engine

The basic calculation is that an automatic drivetrain has a 20% power loss, so the 400 hp engine gets 320 hp to the wheels.

A good 4.0 would do somewhere arround 315rwhp, and this is on dynos that have a single large drum per wheel. Drivetrain loss on these ones are more like 17% (could be even lower), so that translates to about 379 engine HP.

But all depends on the correction factors (ie din, sae etc), and also dyno type. Take your time if you want good repeatable results, as the intercoolers need to be cooled between runs, as the hotter they get the lower the output.

I agree with Avos. I have had my 4.0 XKR dynoed 4 times and it is around the 315 RWHP mark for a standard car.
