Sam: I miss your posts bro... What's happened to you? I hope the XK has not pissed you off to point you are no longer interested.

 

The Rev was very helpful to me and my initial problem with the XKR... I truly do not think that I would have figured it out with out his input,,,

Long story short- the vehicle would not shut down properly and sometimes would not start at all... Had a brand new battery and everything checked out fine... The problem was intermitent but annoying,,,

The positive cable from the battery had a poor connection at the terminal and the other end that is connected to the terminal box in the trunk on the forward wall...

Put it in a vise recrimped both ends and checked the torque on all 4 locking nuts in the terminal box... Everything is perfect...

That would have been a tuffy with out the Rev's help...

I had occasion to swap some email with the Rev in just the last couple of days. He's still out there, but has a few things on his plate at present, so I don't know when he'll be checking in here. Then again, it could be today. Just don't know.

Anyway, I Thought I'd post this assurance just in case he does not check in here for a while.

Actually I've just been throwing up and smoking pot. The pot stops the throwing up much better than that worthless but expensive crap the doctor prescribes. Hopefully I'll quit throwing up soon, but I might keep smoking the pot.

By the way... I hope every single politician who opposes medical marijuana gets cancer and has to endure chemotherapy without it. It's like a miracle drug. I just wanted to shoot myself before my college student son hooked me up. I think I probably would have just said "**** it, no more chemo" without marijuana.
