Default what is this parts name?

I am replacing my right rear window regulator and when I took the seat out I found the part that the top hydraulic ram rests on is all broken up. It is just a plastic type of material although it broke so it is brittle,l about 3.5 inches by 1.5 inches and fits around two studs coming up from the floor. The ram doesn't attach to it as the ram has to move, I think the ram just rests against it when the top is up.

Anyway - mine is in multiple pieces and I would try gluing it but not all of the pieces are there (where they could have possibly gone is one of the worlds great mysteries) so I need to try and purchase one. I have no idea what it is called so my search efforts are not going well.

Anyone have any ideas or maybe a spare "plastic piece the convertible top hydraulic ram rests against piece"?

I can see you're having a few problems identifying this part. Can you be a bit more precise with the aid of these diagrams from the Parts Manual?

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately it is not in either of those diagrams, it goes on the floor under the ram pictured in the diagram. Here is a picture of what is left of the part and then one of where it goes. This is on the floor under the side piece next to the seat.
Just for the record - what looks like dirt is a light coating of oil probably from the ram. I will be cleaning that up but it isn't as bad as it looks in the pictures.

It looks like that could be a broken off mounting bracket for the rear subwoofer

Good day!!

That is exactly what it is... The rear sub is a pain to remove without taking the supporting bracket above the sub out, so some just break the tab that you have remaining in your car... One of mine was broken...

There are three bolts that keep the speaker in place... Two on the floor and one on the vertical seat back... It is the bolt that is directly above the seatbelt latch in this picutre... I took that curved horizontal bar loose before I removed the sub on this side... The other was already broken...

Do you not have the subs anymore?! I still had the box, but no sub speakers... Stolen I think as the wires were cut...

Cheers!!

We have a winner!! It is part of the speaker box, not sure it is big enough to be a sub but either way that's what it is. It is right under the ram and the instructions I am using to change the regulator talks about making sure to position the ram back correctly. I was so intent on getting the regulator out I didn't even notice when I took of those nuts that this part should have come out with the speaker box.

The stereo has always sounded fine so I don't think I will bother with a new box if I can't fix this one.

Thanks for all of your help.
