what type of oil does an '03 4.2L take? 5W-30?

what type of oil does an '03 4.2L take? 5W-30?
Per my other thread, my manual is apparently for a 4.0L vehicle, but I have the newer 4.2L. Is 5W-30 correct for a 4.2L? Synthetic or regular?
