Under engine tray
Any reason to not leave it off? Mine's a mess after an oil leak I had and I've had an S-Type and an LS and the oil pan and trains sit lower in both of these cars and they don't have a full pan cover. I assume engine cooling would be slightly better too.
It's bad. I had to remove all of the fire retardant material from it because it was soaked in oil. It's off for now, but I haven't driven the car anyway. The leak was fixed not long ago and now I'm just playing finally doing some additional cleaning up to the car. I even removed the ride height sensors since it's now a coil over car.
MIne has had no undertray on since I owned it. Some (possible) electrical issues due to items getting very wet from water soaked roads, but resolved once it dried out.
If I had one I would refit it, but they are $$$ and not really on the budget list TBH.

It'll probably go back on. I may be moving to Wisconsin in the not so distant future and I don't want salt spray getting in the engine bay.

I would have left the Phillips screws out, but the amount of rattle it caused just tapping the panel without them was crazy. Really considering modifying the panel for access to the plug and oil filter.
Yeah, I noticed a bit more noise at high idle after first starting, but I haven't drove it yet. I'll take out today. Technically mine was just a plastic pan because I had to remove the sound mat a while back.
