Hi guys,

A big question, at least for me. Where can I find the right code for the leather of my steering wheel ? I post a pic. I can describe the colour as : dark sand, or something similar. My interior trim is Ivory, code NED, and the steering wheel is darker.

on the plate in the door there are the codes, Paint JHE, Trim NED and another code that is EP. Is that last the code ?

That should be Jaguar 'Antlelope', code AGE

You know, looking again, it could also be 'Sable', which is very similar in color to Antelope. Oatmeal was paired with Antelope, it might be that Ivory was paired with Sable.

A dealer may be able to confirm.

 

My '01 has the NED (Ivory) seats and I was told the darker color is Sable.

WhiteXKR is correct in that a dealer should be able to tell you the accurate color. No sense in ordering the wrong one.

 

Thank you WhiteXKR and Jag#4 for answers, I think, just looking, it could be possible the coffee colour. Anyway I will ask to the Jag dealer to be sure.

I remembered that I bought on ebay some brochures of the XK8/R, and on one in German (I am not german), I found the following pics that I scanned.

The Interior is Sable at least, mine in particulary is Ivory/Sable
