You make it very difficult to provide help. What Model/Year Jaguar do you have? Is your Jaguar an X100? Is it supercharged XKR. It would be very helpful if you put your Jaguar information in your signature.

Now with all of that out of the way P1646 has nothing to do with oxygen sensors. The code is for the secondary fuel pump relay having a problem. Keep in mind that code only applies to supercharged engines.

 

Actually, P1646 can be either depending on the year:

VIN 001036-018108 no such code
VIN 018109-031303 Fuel pump 2
VIN 031304-A00083 Heated O2 sensor
VIN A00084-A11140 Heated O2 sensor
VIN A11141-A30645 Fuel pump 2
VIN A30646- and on Heated O2 sensor

If its an XK8 it can only be the O2 sensor anyway as there is no fuel pump 2
