Why are cars so much cheaper in the U.S.??????

I didn't think they were ....... but I live in England where they definitely are cheaper!
The US is a major market for Jaguar and approximately one third of the XK8/XKR were sold there. Consequently used car values are lower than in mainland Europe where the number sold was much lower. Scarcity increases prices.
