Why have we not series numbered the X100s
The E-Types had series numbers from the Factory, but people added the 1.5 to help identify cars.
Why have we not done that with the X100?
First stab:
1997 - Series 1
1998 - 2002 - Series 1.75
2003-2004 - Series 2
2005-2006 - Series 2.5

I spend a lot of time moving XK8/XKR (X100) posts to XK/XKR (X150) forum and vice versa because newbies have sufficient confusion over the two primary model factory codes. Adding a "series" number or the little known additional factory codes would add to the confusion.
