windscreen finisher is loose

The trim is secured with clips around the perimeter of the windscreen.
The clips are embedded in the adhesive during the fitting process.
The top clip may have broken but could just need the trim pressing back onto it.
The usual procedure for fitting the trim is the fit the top corner first and work down to the bottom of the windscreen.

According to the instructions from a member in a german forum I took off the trim. Unfortunately all clips broke or were broken before. (someone worked already on this issue)
Now I can not take out the broken parts of the Clips under Windscreen and therefore not put on new ones. I have to bring the car to a windscreen-replacement shop to do the work. They probably need to take off and on the windscreen.
