Winter Preparation
Well folks, it's time for Winter Driving Prep for me which means about 16 000km worth of winter driving is on the horizon.
First on the agenda is brakes; rotors and pads, maybe even calipers. I'm not happy with what I currently have and brakes are something I don't play games with. I plan on doing all four.
Second is winter wheels and tires. When the car was on the lift yesterday I noticed that there doesn't seem to be much room between the brakes and the wheels so something tells me I'll need 17" steels, rather than the more common 16" steels.
Third is rust protection.
But before I do too much, I might as well see what others on here have done and which routes they've chosen to go so I propose the question:
For those of you who drive your XK (or XJ) for the true winter (with snow, ice, slush, salt and salt), how do you prepare your vehicle?
