Hi everyone,

I am looking to replace the wind deflectors (GJA8974BA) on the wipers as I think they have been misplaced by my garage, however I can only find LHD parts, all the RHD results come back as no longer available.

Is this a lost cause or am I looking at the wrong place? Thanks for the help!

 

I saw you are in a 98, I never heard of this so I googled the part number. A long conversation from 2013 came up ( this forum). This part was fitted on 2003- 2005 x100s and several other jag models. The right side part number ends in 4, left ends in 5 (Thanks Graham). More info:

Hi Rothwell, thanks for the insight! I am in a Right Hand Drive country, I see that part number GJA8962CA seems to be for Left hand Drive, I am assuming the blades will not work, but then I also have functional blades on my car right now, do you think I can simply move the deflectors over to my old blades? Thanks!

 

I'm not sure how I got them in the first place as the car was 2nd hand and it came with the deflectors. maybe the pervious owner already had the kit installed before it got to me.

 

Hi again, I dug deeper and saw that Part GJA8962BB is for RHD cars, but some sites say its only the blade (no deflector) but some says its the whole kit, do you by any chance know if this is the right part?

 

JEPC shows the Wiper Blade and Wind Deflector are supplied separately:



I changed blades on my 2005 XK8 but re-used the deflctor.
