I've got a leak in the high pressure line that's getting fixed next week. Fluid was low so I stopped and got some power steering fluid and put in half of a small bottle. 300 miles later, it was low again so I went to auto parts store to get more fluid. They told me I should use Dextron Transmission fluid instead. I of course could have avoided this by checking the manual before adding fluid. But that horse has left the barn. Will the power steering fluid I added in cause damage? How big of a deal is this?
