I have been trying to get new tags for my 98 XK8 for some time now jumping through Oregon's DMV hoops.
now I get a letter stating that my custom plate will not be "issued" because is a bodily function or sex act!
All I what is new tags for the plates I've had for years.

That's funny. In NC, there is allegedly an appeals process, but whatever group of biddies they have in the back office often makes this decision with negligible input from logic or good sense.
'HLLCAD' was ruled out for us a couple of years ago for the old cadillac that my deceased father in law, initials HLL, had for years with same plate in VA. The appeal was denied, even though this was the exact circumstance envisioned in the appeals process.
But, even misinterpreted, I'm pretty sure even 'HELL' is not even a 'bad word' or 'indecent' these days, or even in the fairly distant past. Indeed, in my youth, long ago, I fondly recall the preachers telling us constantly that we were going there...
Such a rejection in either North or South Carolina would warrant a call to the Governor. ******** is the official state dance of South Carolina and G rated for all audiences.

With over 7000 rejections in N.C., only 1 entity showed up when I searched "****". That being "SHAGNAS". I wish that I could do the same search on the "accepted list".
