Default X350 engine into an XK8 4.2 SHES ALIVE

I just completed the swap (there was no response to my request to see if anyone had done this before)
Donor: 2004 X350
Recipient: 2003 XK8 with a 4.2

Everything fits EXCEPT:
1. motor mount brackets (I figured this out AFTER the engine was lowered and the AC etc was connected.
2. A/C Compressor mount
3. Upper oil pan (oil filer is in the wrong spot and no place for oil cooler)
4. The intake manifold (I THINK, I did not tempt fate and leave it in place)
Other than that, it was a direct fit.

purring like a kitten.

Is it playing nice with the X100s electronics?

Do you have any pictures?

SORRY! Wiring harness was changed over as well. Sadly, no pics.

I have seen/heard of this swap. Did you do it your self, or have it don. Was there a pre-built wiring harness? You gotta produce some pix. Inquiring minds........

I searched and could not find an example- I did it myself. I used the wiring harness from my XK8 (Although maybe the XJ harness would have worked I would imagine) The big deal was the upper oil pan and the motor mount brackets- VERY different. Keep in mind both cars are 4.2.

I always regret not taking pics (I even bought a gopro to maybe start creating some tutorials) but once I pick up a wrench and get into the zone the idea of pictures fades into the background.
