Finding used replacement seat leather and foam for a 2001 XKR is pretty tough, and I was wondering if anyone's tried swapping in seats from a same-year XJ8. Are they likely to be compatible in terms of the XJ8 cushions bolting up to the XKR seat rails?

Don’t know about the swaps, but you can get new leather specifically for these cars from https://www.topsonline.com/make/Jaguar

Any good auto interior shop should be able to sculpt proper foam seat inserts for you.....

Owning an X308 XJR and an X100 XKR, I absolutely would not want the X308 seats in the car. The precious little interior space would be more limited front to rear (seats are thicker) and possibly height wise.Originally Posted by labcoatguy

I have the topsonline covers and they are nice. The foam can be redone by an interior shop or you can look up on youtube and learn; I've done about a dozen cars from youtube knowledge and years later they've all held up foam wise.
