The error messages may be nothing but phantoms. It doe's happen.
I would try a hard reset and see if that solves the problem.
Remove the negative cable from the battery. Hold the negative cable against the positive cable and keep it there for 15 seconds. Then reattach the negative cable and start the vehicle.
I would also while you are in there remove and polish both the battery terminals and the cable ends before reinstalling. Clean cables first then attach the positive and perform the HARD RESET.

Amp meter reads 17? Or do you mean volt meter? Is this the meter on the dash or external meter? If it's 17 volts you have a regulator problem. You didn't get the battery backwards initially, did you?

thanks for the reply.
No out brand new battery on like for like after sitting for 3/4 months
no issues before
low miles 55k
yes meter on dash varies between 13-17
13 being normal
as previously said starts fine
“gearbox fault” “traction control fault”
”stability control fault”
sometines all electrics stop ...windows indicators etc
turn off restart and they work .... or not ??
thanks again for the reply
new to the site but seems very good

+1 on RJ's comment.

Does sound like a regulator issue. When mine went south I got lots of similar spurious messages, the interior lights would flicker, and the motor speed would 'pulse' in sync with the lights at tickover.

I'd also check that the connections to the high-current protection module in the trunk are clean and nipped up. See this post by GGG:

Do be wary as 17 volts could damage the electronics.
