XK8 2000 Hard start when warm
Hi Guys,
Can't thank everyone enough for all your thread that already saved me thousand!!!
Now my xk8 2000 starts very good when cold but when warm it is much harder to start.
Anyone can tell me where should I start looking.
Thanks
AJ

Is it an immediate problem, as in when the car is warm you can shut it off and immediately try to start it and have the problem? Or does it need to sit for a little while first?
Any codes or other indication of problems?
If it has to sit for a few minutes you might check the fuel pressure regulator. If its sticky when warm then as the engine heat soaks in the fuel will expand causing too high a pressure and hard starting.
You should be able to check the pressure at the rail with a gauge at various times, running, off, after sitting, etc. I think on your car it will be under the plastic cover.
Good luck
