i have a 1998 xk8 and like the idea of a body kit, where is the best place to go

 

There's a lot out there, some cheap, some definitely not, like Arden.

It's a matter of personal preference but body kits on any cars usually look like... well, body kits. Few make the original style more desirable. It'll also depend upon fitting, body work and painting to make it right. Those kits are not plug & play.

But if you insist, a well done paint job can make any car look great. If you have a paint man who can paint with House of Kolor and make it look good, that's a great start.

Go to another car if you want a body kit. The XK8 is a classically beautiful shape, and putting a body kit on it would be as sacreligious as drawing big ***** on the Mona Lisa.

 

Just fitting the 4.2s side skirts was my limit, you can't improve on perfection 😉👌

I just fitted the side skirts from the 4.2s and that wss my limit ,these cars are beautiful as thay are,in my opinion i wouldn't dream of going down the boy racer look but each to there own i guess

 

Those side skirts look pretty good. Yeah even the 2005-2006 front bumper is a bit jarring.
