Default XK8 cabrio -Soft top replacement.

Dear friends,
My soft top need to be replaced. Im thinking about buying one of the aftermarket wersion from ebay:

I have no personal experience but ........... I don't think the interior headliner is included, and I understand (from other posts here and elsewhere) that the headliner is VERY difficult to fit as a DIY job.

Also - you have to transfer the glass window from your old hood to the new one - again - my understanding is that this is also not an easy job.

I would be more inclined to try and find a complete good used soft-top - could work out as a better option in the end.

if your looking for a replacement top - check with forum member mrplow58 (Mike) - he has a tan one - see classified link below - not sure where you're located but worth a try

I`m from Europe, from Poland. Transport the whole roof would be to expencive. Another think is that I would prefere to have it brend new instead of having used one.
None of you have expierence with aftermarket solution?

Its surprising that I have never seen a thread on replacing the soft top.

sorry fishman - didn't realize your location. I did a quick forum search - there are several threads requesting info on replacement tops but not much in the way of DIY replacement or experience with a specific vendor.
