xk8 exhaust
I have a 2002 XK8 in need of a better exhaust note. Has anyone any experience of the Adamesh system that goes under the axles and replaces the rear boxes (mufflers). Don't want it to sound like a race car but a little more rumble would be good. I'm skeptical of the pipes interfering with the full suspension travel and also getting to close to the ground. Looking for an inexpensive way to go. Any other suggestions of a manufacturer that might offer the same setup?

Hi Srallenjag ( what a name ! ) i bought them last year for my MY96 XK8 and thinking of remove them again. Reason is an very annoying loud buzzing noise in 5thgear when you cruise around with any speed up from 60km/h ---140km/h. For accelaration and in any other gear ......they are loud but acceptable. Just the cruising speed is the problem.

I have a catback from Double-S fitted - it sounds great, rather aggressive but not annoying in the least. They advertise in the various UK Jag magazines, so you may have seen their adverts. £500 for such a system.
Stainless Steel Exhausts - Double 'S' Exhausts - Land Rover - Jaguar - Industrial Stainless Steel Exhausts
Not my video, but I believe this is the same exhaust - it's indicative of the sound, but the vid doesn't do it justice TBH !

I have the Mina exhaust system that mounts under the axle. I have not had any issues with rear suspension interference, as the pipes pass under the axle towards the center on the car. They are tucked up neatly below the rear crossmember and then "Y" out towards the rear corner resonator positions. So far, I have no ground clearance issues to report, either. I do play it safe and take it slow while negotiating parking lot speed bumps. I'm also very cautious when entering and exiting steeply angled driveways, as I don't want to chance damaging my polished exhaust tips with a tail drag.
