By the way, none of your pictures show me anything but # 3 if you catch my drift. This is a very subjective area unless someone that will hold up in a court becomes involved.
I can't really say what I would do here because I look at my own car differently I suppose as opposed to just "iron" (other cars).
I'm sorry your XK8 got busted up though.
I've had a few times where I dodged a crash only to watch the other guy drive off from where I sit in a culvert. If they aren't coming head on, from now on I'm letting contact occur instead of watching the ******* drive off...it happens very quickly though and it's a tough call.
