Yes, I did check the VIN. It arrived and is installed. Perfect fit, but too darn expensive. To avoid future "mishaps I now also have a wireless backup camera installed in the nose. Camera was only one third that price of the valance, so I think it was a good investment.

 

If repairing, there is really no product that really works. Fabricate aluminum plates add pop rivet over the over the breaks and then use a filler on the outside or not as they are usually not visible from above. You will find that non reinforced repairs will break just by bending with your hands. And in my experiences fiber glass resins won't even stick to plastics effectivally.
