Default XK8 Jewel Tail Lights

Sorry to have to ask, I'm in the process of fitting the later jewelled tail lights to our XK8. Ive cut out the panels, and have the lights and paragon adapters in place
I'm struggling to extract the terminals from the wiring plug. I have the red secondary lock out, but struggling to find a tool that will release the terminals. Just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice?

As I recall you need to un-latch the flat sprung protrusion on the terminal that "fish hooks" it in place.

Can you see this latch? Sometimes you need long thin (hat pin? Finishing nail?) tool. The terminal isn't that big, can you get access to dental picks? Many hardware stores sell them. Strength and size (guage) wise these might be best.

Last time I looked on Amazon to buy new probes for my Digital Multi Meter, I recall seeing tools that are designed for your task. Take a look.

Hi,
I have few sets of tools for releasing the terminals, but none seem to be working. The terminal has latches on either side. I have a selection of tuning fork shaped tools, but none of them seem to do the business :-(
